Carefully selected materials. Good design. Fine craftsmanship. That’s all you want. And that’s what we do. You’ll find our nets in some of the best fly shops in the United States. Our dealers not only sell our products, but they share their knowledge about your home waters, how to fish them, and how to preserve them for future generations. Please support your local dealers, so they can continue to support your fishing community.
“My Go-To Net”
We love to see photos of our nets in action. Here’s one from Daniel Murray, holding a 26-inch brown caught on the Truckee river in Nevada, which he landed in our Lariat.
“It took every bit of my wolf moon net to get him in. My wife and I do a lot of hiking and cover a lot of ground when we fish. That being said we are hard on our equipment. I have had my wolf moon net for the past year and it has held up to everything I can throw at it. It is such a durable piece of equipment and I know it will be my go to net for years to come.”
Thanks for sharing, Daniel!
Wolf Moon Nets in Vogue
Never thought we’d be in Vogue, but thanks to our dealer Ball and Buck we were part of a Father’s Day Gift Guide. Scroll through to Slide 2 to see!
Site News
We’ve been doing a little sprucing up to make the web site more mobile-friendly. There’s a drop-down sidebar menu to help you quickly find models within a profile category. Or just click on “Models” for a page with thumbnails grouped by profile category. Dealer links are organized by state to make it easy for customers to find dealers. The FAQs page has information about the woods we use, net care, and sack replacement.
Thank you to Wayne Anderson for this picture from a Montana fishing trip with his daughters!
Summer 2013 Update
As July comes to a close, many of our dealers are catching a breath in the midst of a busy season. We’re busy, too, shipping ASAP orders, building nets, preparing our 2014 preseason program, and of course fishing.
We’ve had a great response to our new Tuck net series.
The Steeple is a teardrop-shaped Tuck. Essentially, the bow is the same as our Ledge — except for the bend that moves the tip of the bow away from your shoulder blades when it’s tucked into your waistband or behind a hip pack. The Slope is a C&R model the same size as our Prairie but with the Tuck profile.
Tucks and all other models are ready for asap shipment to our dealers.
On a personal note, our annual extended family fishing camp is coming up. The teens got to fish in Alaska this summer on their family vacation. We’re hoping they still enjoy fishing with us on the Wolf after that!
Wolf Moon Introduces Tuck Net Series
New for 2013 are the Wolf Moon Tuck Nets, two models that are comfortably curved to tuck into your waistband or behind a hip pack while you’re walking or fishing. Our Colorado rep, Ben Furimsky, came up with this. Thanks, Ben!

The Slope is a C&R model the same size as our Prairie. With a Slope tucked into your wading belt, you’re ready to land that Old Curmudgeon gently — so you can release him to taunt you again another day.
New Web Site Under Construction
We’re finally in the process of building a brand new web site from the ground up. Our goal is to make it easier for dealers and their customers to find just the right net, and for fishing folk to find the dealers who sell our products. Work on our new site should be done in less time than it took us to remodel the bathroom in our old farmhouse. In the meantime, you can still find our old site at http://wolfmoonnets.com/
